Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Restoration is complete!
This 190 SL arrived at Prestige Restoration from the United States in an incomplete state. Having assessed the work that had previously been carried out, it became clear that a number of repairs fell short of the standards required. We therefore took the decision to start again, carefully dismantling and rectifying the car before undertaking a full and exacting restoration from the ground up.
Finished in DB172 Anthracite Grey Metallic over Red Hide, the car has been restored to an exceptionally high standard, including the correct factory colour treatment to the underside — ensuring that attention to detail extends well beyond what is immediately visible.
Now complete, this beautiful 190 SL is ready to leave the workshop and begin its next chapter, to be driven and enjoyed by its lucky owner throughout the summer and for many years to come.

1979 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 Restoration

1971 Porsche 991 Targa ‘restoration project’
When you get the call saying “Help! My car is halfway through its restoration and the company it’s with is closing its doors…”
You pack up the team and send a van on one of the hottest days of the year — and that’s exactly what we did to rescue this poor 1971 Porsche 911 Targa and bring it over to us… only to realise we’ll have to start from scratch.
Having spent part of its life in Australia before being brought back to the U.K., this Porsche has certainly had a journey.
As many will know, taking over someone else’s restoration is never easy, and there’s no doubt this project will come with its own set of challenges — but it’s finally landed in the right hands.
Side note: the purple is staying.

1970 Triumph 2000 MKII
Just another restoration? Not quite.
We’ve been on a bit of a British Leyland streak lately, and this Triumph is something truly special.
This project began 12 months ago and became a full nut-and-bolt rebuild: extensive metalwork with very few panels available off the shelf, gearbox and overdrive rebuilt by our friends at @hardyengineeringltd, complete engine overhaul, propshaft and differential refresh, all-new running gear, suspension, brakes, stainless exhaust, and a full interior retrim (retaining those original seats). Finished off with new carpets, headlining, wheels and tyres.
Resprayed in its original Valencia Blue with a colour-matched underside in tinted Raptor stone chip — every detail restored, refined, and completed entirely in-house. A rarity in the UK classic restoration scene today.
A true labour of love and something the whole team is proud of. Heading home in the next couple of weeks — with more photos to come.
