Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino – Front-End Suspension Rebuild

1979 Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino – Front-End Suspension Rebuild

This week at Prestige Restoration, we’ve been carrying out a full front-end suspension rebuild on this beautiful 1979 Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino.

With all the suspension components removed, we stripped everything down, cleaned and blasted the parts before having them powder coated. The components were then carefully reassembled with new bushes, ball joints, track rod ends and shock absorbers, restoring the front suspension to its best.

While the car was apart, we took the opportunity to remove the undertrays and give some of the normally hidden chassis and underside components some attention, cleaning everything up and applying fresh anti-corrosion treatment to help protect it for the years ahead.

To finish the job, the Ferrari will be fitted with a new set of tyres from @BlockleyTyres before a thorough road test to ensure everything is working as it should.

At Prestige Restoration, we believe it’s the details you don’t always see that make the difference. Whether it’s a suspension rebuild or a little preventative maintenance, taking the time to get things right underneath is just as important as the finish on top.

Thinking about mechanical work on your classic? Now is an ideal time to get it booked in, whether your car is heading into winter storage or you plan to keep enjoying it on the road all year round.
